I got infected with this disease on Facebook. Now I'm recovering... :-)
1. I grew up in the mountains in Korea. Every spring, we would go pick 쑥 (mugwort), 진달래 (azalea), and other wild greens. I can hike up and down quickly and mimic birds singing. Think Heidi Mia.
2. I went clubbing three times this week. Last night was so fun--I wore a hot snakeskin dress, but all the guys in the bar were into my gay-looking friend, my god. We belly-danced and had good laughs -- it was bliss!
3. A strange hobby: I collect toothpastes. After so many years, I've found the best one in Germany: Aronal & Elmex set. Blue is for morning and orange is for night. They're not strong, but pleasantly refreshing.
4. One day I'd like to visit places in the South Hemisphere.
5. I have a shoe fetish cat who worships stinky feet. She gets so happy tucking her head completely into shoes when guests are around.
6. January 1st, 2000. I was in Paris for the first time, celebrating the new year. Paris was so dreamy and wonderful, full of chocolate croissants and l'occitane products.
7. I have wonderful mentors, who are my best friends. We spend vacations together and talk about so many things.
8. I once owned a black sporty car: Hyundai Tiburon. It was tuned up nicely with a stylish Momo Millenium steering wheel. Just like I do research now, I used to read/talk/dream about cars all the time.
9. I love going to cupcake places like Magnolia in NY. Vanilla butter cream.. mmm
10. Trench coats make me feel upbeat and powerful. It's a magical transformation.
11. An old fashioned habit: I keep a diary in paper notebooks. My latest one is a pink Moleskine; it's full of cat drawings.
12. I love love love live octopus dish in Korea! It's fun to pick up those wobbly legs with chopsticks, dip them into sesame oil with salt sauce, and swallow them quickly. It's absolutely fun and delicious.
13. I can't stand mean people.
14. Funky stockings and ballerina flats... they define me.
15. The only time I wear 4-inch heels is when I tango. Comme il faut--Manolo Blahnik of tango shoes--makes me feel like walking in the cloud.
16. My uncles in Korea are in construction business officially. "Unofficially" they are local Mafias. When they ask me if anyone's bothering me, I'm tempted to give out names of my ex-es.
17. I have dined at a Michelin 3-star restaurant in Italy: Don Alfonso. It's hard to describe how excellent a meal could be -- it was simply perfect. Don Alfonso is in the Amalfi Coast where you can find lots of lemon trees.

18. People say I'm social. But I too suffer from occasional social meltdowns.
19. Once in London Stansted airport, I got into a big trouble at security checkpoint. I was taken to a private room and got fully investigated, all because of a little metal piece in the lingerie i was wearing. I got out of the room with compliments.
20. I am scared of Dracula. They are utterly scary.
21. I have water phobia. I saw sharks when I was 5 at SeaWorld in San Diego. Since then, I haven't dived into the open sea alone. I get even scared in swimming pools.
22. I need a cup of coffee to get me going in the morning. English, only after my coffee please.
23. I'd like to speak five different languages one day.
24. I am still waiting for my prince charming. You know in modern versions, they come pick you up in black Porsche, wearing Dolce & Gabbana jeans.
25. I was secretly hoping this chain letter won't reach me. Now it's time to infect others, pass on the pleasure. ;-)
